The Exchange Club of Charleston presents a check which will allow one girl to participate in the local program of Girls on the Run.  The Girls on the Run mission is to inspire girls to be joyful, healthy and confident using a fun, experience-based curriculum which creatively integrates running.

Beth Gillespie is the director of the new local program.
